Synopsis

Sam is a man with a plan, but lack of follow through turns his ideas into silly schemes. So when Sam’s latest scheme blows up, he and his cohorts, Jamal and Frankie, have to find new jobs. A series of mishaps lands them in jail in the small suburb of Rocky Road, and the three decide to fake “find” God to avoid more time behind bars.

The three are sentenced into the care of Rusty Pickens, a prominent member of Rocky Road, who sets them up as the leaders of the Rocky Road Community Church. Although it seems like an easy job, the gig gets thorny as the three get to know real people with real problems, and Sam, Jamal and Frankie realize they have nothing real to offer.

As they continue to bungle through their duties, the trio uncover a greedy plot to steal money from the church and eventually destroy it. Sam, Jamal and Frankie must decide whether to rescue the church and the people — no matter the consequences.

Attaboy Media Productions to produce ‘Three Blind Saints’ feature film

Filming for family-friendly comedy/drama to begin Oct. 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Attaboy Media Productions announces the production of the feature film “Three Blind Saints,” a family-friendly comedy/drama about three wily men who wind up getting rescued in a God encounter they never expected. “Three Blind Saints” will be filmed and produced in Kansas City.

Brad Wilson, who produced feature films such as “Believers Among Us” and “A Family Thing,” will serve as the producer. Wilson has worked closely with Robert Duvall, Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock and Matt Damon, and his other feature film credits include “Days of Thunder,” “The Scarlet Letter” and “Falling Down.”

Emmy-award winning writer and producer Steve Gray, who wrote the screenplay, will serve as executive producer of the film. Gray has extensive experience in television, as the co-host, writer and executive producer of “The Steve & Kathy Show,” a nationally syndicated television comedy skit and variety show.

John Eschenbaum, producer and director of The Steve & Kathy Show, will be the director of the film. Eschenbaum is managing director of Attaboy Media Productions, an award-winning production company that produces family-friendly film, television and commercials.

Los Angeles, California   –    HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA has announced that KINGDOM RACING will be associated with the new film “SCREAMING HALT” based on the true story of Indy race car driver Davey Hamilton.  “This is an association I have wanted for the film since its inception” said the film’s producer Brad Wilson.  “I was aware of their amazing ministry of raising awareness of God’s word through Motorsports which is real out-of the box thinking.  It always seemed like the perfect “fit” said Wilson.

Houston businessman, George Del Canto, had the vision to combine his passion for auto racing and his business skills to focus on the Kingdom Racing ministry.  “Kingdom Racing exists to make a positive impact on lives” Del Canto said.  “Being able to associate our ministry with this exciting film will have world-wide impact in a positive way” he said.  Already Davey Hamilton is partnering with the Kingdom Racing team and has participated in Indianapolis 500 races the past three years in a row for KINGDOM RACING generating world-wide awareness.

The film will focus on Davey Hamilton’s amazing story of faith in God and determination after his racing career almost ended on June 9, 2001 following a devastating crash at the Texas Motor Speedway. After 21 operations and two years of rehabilitation Davey has returned to the world of Indy racing.

For the production of “SCREAMING HALT” KINGDOM RACING joins Wilson’s new company HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA in association with POWER IN FAITH which Wilson co founded with Jamie Elliott and Ralph E. Portillo in 2004.  POWER IN FAITH has produced numerous faith based and inspirational films since then such as the recent “SET APART” which was released last year by Provident/Sony.  In addition they produced the faith based TV drama series “BELIEVERS AMONG US.

Los Angeles, California   –    Higher Purpose Media, founded by film veteran Brad Wilson last year, has announced their first film under the new banner.  “SCREAMING HALT” (working title) will be based on the true story of Indy race car driver Davey Hamilton whose racing career almost ended on June 9, 2001 following a devastating crash at the Texas Motor Speedway. After 21 operations and two years of rehabilitation Davey returned to Indy Car racing at the 91st running of the Indianapolis 500 in May 2007 and finished 9th.   2010 will mark the third year in a row Davey has returned again to the IndyCar series since the devastating accident.  “Davey has an amazing story of hope and faith” said Brad Wilson who will serve as the film’s producer.  “His story will inspire film going audiences around the world with the powerful message that through faith in God and pure determination, anyone can overcome any of life’s costly interruptions” Wilson said.

HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA will be working on this film in association with POWER IN FAITH which Wilson co founded with Jamie Elliott and Ralph Portillo in 2004.  POWER IN FAITH has produced numerous films since then such as the recent “SET APART” which was released this past September by Provident/Sony, in addition to the faith based TV drama series “BELIEVERS AMONG US.”  Jamie Elliott will also serve as Producer on “SCREAMING HALT” which will be directed by award winning director Ralph Portillo.  “Ralph has been a life long Indy racing fan and will bring great truth and visuals to the film to accompany a powerful inspirational story” Wilson said.  Davey Hamilton said of Portillo “Having someone like Ralph direct this film is a blessing…a talented film maker who also knows the sport inside out.”

Award winning screenwriter Max Myers has been tapped to write the original screenplay and will team him again with Brad Wilson.  In 2002 and based on an original idea from Wilson, Myers scripted and directed the film “DON’T LET GO” starring Academy Award nominee Kathryn Ross and recording and Broadway star Levi Kreis.  “I’m thrilled to be working with Max again” Wilson said.  “He is a tremendous talent who always loved Americana growing up in Europe…Indy racing is a sport recognized around the world and Max not only has special sensibilities for great Americana but an eye for international appeal in his writing at the same time.   I have great trust in Max’s writing.  It always comes from a place of truth” said Wilson “SCREAMING HALT” is expected to go into production this summer.
